The major fundraising effort of Sail MV is the
Annual Seafood Buffet and Auction. It is a great Island event
with delicious food catered by Fella Caters, with Live and Silent
auctions followed by dancing to the Beetlebung Steel Band.
This year it will be held on July
6, 2008 at the Tisbury Wharf in Vineyard Haven,
starting at 5:00 PM.
The harbor offers a beautiful backdrop for this special evening.
A fleet of wooden sailboats will be tied up at the dock for viewing.
The buffet will offer a fabulous seafood feast including lobster,
clams, shrimp, salmon, swordfish, chicken, sausage, corn and salad
and much more.
The auction has many one-of-a-kind items; meals at Island restaurants,
Boston adventures, paintings by local artists, jewelry, Caribbean
cruises and day sails on beautiful wooden vessels. All to be bid
on! Tickets will cost $125 and can be bought by calling the Sail
MV office at 508-696-7644. No tickets will be sold at the door.
